The mission committee of Rustenburg Methodist is called GAP. It's work covers mission
that is both local and wider fields.
Currently there are four wider field mission projects.:
* HIS School
A primary school in the rural area near Magaliesburg
* The Venter family
Based in Cape town where they work for SIM International
* Marlene and Jeremy Sieberhagen
Overseas missionaries under the banner of Operation Mobilization
* Elijah Kampi
Is an independant Life Coach working in the Magaliesburg area..
LOCAL MISSION PROJECTS
Many of the Life Groups and organizations are involved in local
missions. Missions that report to GAP are:
* Clothing distribution
* Food Distribution / Fill a Tummy
* Daycare worker among AIDS sufferers - a Hospice worker
sponsored through Rustenburg Methodist
RMC EARTH CARE
This group is involved with issues of enviromental care; main projects are
* Recycling of plastic, tins, paper and glass
* Plan Season of Creation celebrations.
